Believing in Allah is not enough

Most of the Muslims think that Believing in Allah – which means that the sole belief that Allah exists – Is enough.

Even that they do not pray or does a lot of Haram things and just say: “At least I believe that Allah exist. At least I am not a Kafir“.

Let me quickly summarize the story of Adam and Iblees:

When Allah (swt) commanded all the Angels and Iblees to prostrate before Adam, the angels did so except Iblees. He refused to follow the command out of arrogance – and became a disbeliever.

AND [MENTION] WHEN WE SAID TO THE ANGELS, “PROSTRATE BEFORE ADAM”; SO THEY PROSTRATED, EXCEPT FOR IBLEES. HE REFUSED AND WAS ARROGANT AND BECAME OF THE DISBELIEVERS.

Surah: AL-BAQARAH Ayat: 34

One point to consider over here…

Iblees refused mentioning the below:

HE[IBLEES] SAID, “I AM BETTER THAN HIM. YOU CREATED ME FROM FIRE AND CREATED HIM FROM CLAY.”

Surah: SAD Ayat: 76

Here is the actual point. Iblees is actually accepting that Allah is his creator with: “You created me from fire…”. But he disobeyed. So his disobedience (refusal) was made him a disleiever.

After this Iblees mentioned to Allah that he will misguide the progenies of Adam till the judgement day .

[IBLEES] SAID, “BY YOUR MIGHT, I WILL SURELY MISLEAD THEM ALL

Surah: SAD Ayat: 82

Disobedience might result to Disbelief.

So please, try your best to obey Allah follwing his commands and restrictions.

Arrogance was the root cause

The Ayat mentions that, Iblees did that out of Kibir (arrogance) the word Kibir comes from the word Kubraa which originates form Akbar (greatest) and only Allah is the Greatest of all – Allahu Akbar.

So disobedience might conclude its doer consider himself as Akbar, which is absolutely no one except Allah (swt).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
